Berkeley County is located in WV's beautiful and historic Eastern Panhandle, about 90 miles from our nation's Capitol in Washington, DC, and it is often referred to as the Gateway to the Shenandoah Valley. Our organization is affiliated with the West Virginia Federation of Democratic Women and the National Federation of Democratic Women.

- fostering a more active interest and participation in governmental affairs
- promoting the fundamental principles for which the Democratic Party traditionally and historically stands - a government responsive and responsible to the people
- developing leadership and promoting harmony within the Party ranks
No meeting in May! Our annual dinner held May 4 was a roaring success. Keynote speaker, WV Secretary of State Natalie Tennant, fired us up, and Senator Manchin spoke as well. Over 200 people were present and enjoyed good food, good company, good words, and lots of enthusiasm. Next meeting will be June 28 at the Martinsburg Library at 7:00 pm. Join us!
